First, let’s clear up a few things. Ovation’s Cell Therapy is not a shampoo and it’s not a conditioner. It is a hair treatment. On a basic level, I like to think of Cell Therapy as a vitamin for hair. How exactly does it do that?
Normal hair has three layers: the cuticle, the cortex and the medulla. The cuticle is the outer layer and is comprised primarily of keratin (protein) scales that overlap slightly. Hair in good condition has a relatively flat cuticle making it shiny, smooth, manageable, and even fuller. Cuticles that are in bad condition are broken, dull, and weak. Advanced Color Therapy Shampoo – Many shampoos include ingredients that create a rich lather, leaving you with that “clean” hair feeling. What many people don’t know is that some of those ingredients that create lather, are not only harsh, but can also cause build-up and defeat the purpose of shampooing. That being said, for some hair types it is good to use a more harsh shampoo, but we don’t recommend that on a daily basis.
